Empowering the Next Generation of Agricultural Leaders
Liberia’s agriculture and environmental sectors face urgent challenges poor soil health, inefficient water use, and high post-harvest losses. Many graduates lack the hands-on experience needed to address these issues effectively.
Agrisustainify, a social enterprise advancing sustainable agriculture through innovation and digital tools, is tackling this gap through the Agri-Environmental Symposium 2025. This two-day Soil, Water, and Post-Harvest Management Workshop will equip students at Stella Maris Polytechnic University and other universities with essential practical skills for real-world impact.
What to Expect
Students from the Agriculture and Environmental Science Departments will participate in field demonstrations, lab sessions, and discussions led by Agrisustainify experts.
Focus areas include:
- Soil Analysis: Sampling, nutrient testing, and data interpretation.
- Water Analysis: Evaluating irrigation and environmental quality.
- Farm Mapping: Using GIS and digital tools for efficient management.
- Post-Harvest Management: Reducing losses through better handling and storage.
Participants will receive a certificate of participation, internship opportunities, and access to future Agrisustainify field contracts.

- Target: 50–100 Agriculture and Environmental Science students
- Fee: $30 (discounted from $50)
- Covers: Training, materials, certification, refreshments, and internship access
